Catholic Grade School
Where Faith and Knowledge Meet!
St. Sylvester Central is committed to providing a strong Catholic and academic education in a safe, Christian atmosphere for all students. We are rooted in the teachings of Christ and of the Catholic Church. We promote a three-fold purpose of Catholic education partnered with families and the Church by instilling the tradition of faith and Christian values, by promoting service to local and global communities, and by achieving academic excellence.
We believe Christan Values and student learning are the chief priorities for the school and the primary focus of all decision making.
We believe a structured, safe, and physically comfortable environment promotes learning.
We believe a student's education is enhanced by God given abilities, individual efforts, and family support.
Faculty and Staff
We believe the faculty and staff educate the students through a faith driven curriculum, developing the whole child-body, mind, and spirit.
We believe students are actively engaged in the learning process through the implementation of researched best practices that meet the diverse needs of each student.
Service to Others
We believe students recognize the social concerns of the global community through service to others.
We believe all stakeholders share the responsibility for advancing the school's mission.
